Kindergarten Transition - We warmly welcome incoming Kindergarten students and their families with many opportunities for the newest learners and their families to get to know our beautiful school. This is an exciting time and our teram are committed to providing a smooth and positive transition experience. We support our new Kindergarten students through a series of events, starting with a family picnic and four transition sessions to help them become familiar with our school and grow in confidence with our team. We look forward to partnering closely with families to support the growth and develeopment of our new students. Welcome to Ebenezer family!
Easter Hat Parade - Our Easter Hat Parade is a joyful tradition that celebrates community spirit and creativity. Students design a hat or basket to showcase their imagination and artistic flair. This colourful events brings everyone together to enjoy fun and share smiles. We even include excited preschoolers in the parade. Our clever P&C mums run a popular raffle and generously provide a small gift for all students.
Grandparents Day - Our annual celebration of grandparents and their important role in family life is a beautiful, warm connection that we treasure. Some travel quite a way to get to us and we are so grateful. We have open classrooms so that grandparents and families could visit and see our learning environments and then host a special assembly with a performance by each class and some songs from the school choir. The children absolutely love performing their items for all the visitors and their smiles as they saw their family members at school is priceless.
Book Week - Our annual Book Parade is a colourful celebration of reading and creativity that brings the whole school community together. Students dress up as their favourite book character, sparking fun, excitement and highlighting the joy that literature can bring for all ages. This vibrant celebration encourages imagination, storytelling and a lifelong passion for books, making reading an enjoyable and memorabe experience for everyone.
P&C Mother's and Father's Day Breakfast - Our amazing P&C parents proudly host a special breakfast to celebrate Mother's Day and Father's day. These gathering provide a wonderful opportunity for families to come together and celebrate the important role of parenting. We are lucky to be in partnership with so many amazing families!
Dyuraligu Family Fun - 'Dyuraligu' means growing the future together and is a relaxed and fun way for parents to be involved with their children at school. Our Dyuraligu events are highly anticipated, with many of our Ebenezer families joining us for some fun! We have had handball and hotdogs, movie and marshmallows, bingo and bangers, paper planes and pizza to name a few. We are lucky to have such a supportive school community.
Stage 3 Canberra Camp - Stage 3 students had an amazing, jam-packed camp to Canberra where they reinforced their classroom learning and created some fantastic memories. They enjoyed some formal visits to Parliament House and the Electoral Education Centre, as well as the War Memorial and the Royal Australian Mint. They also found great engaging experiences in their visits to Questacon, a ight trip to the Dinosaur Museum and the Canberra Deep Space Communication Centre. This is only some of their activities - so much learning and so much fun!
