Each year, Ebenezer Public School runs a Tennis Challenge Day at the Richmond Tennis Centre. This year, we had it on the 25th November and, thankfully, it was a lot cooler than the previous year.
We arrived by 9:45am and settled in whilst Mr Johnson completed the round-robin draw. The rules for the day and the format of play were demonstrated by some Year 6 students, before everyone was told who their partner for the day was. There were four divisions: Senior Boys, Senior Girls, Junior Boys and Junior Girls.
The day went very smoothly and everyone had fun. The competition was great, but the sportsmanship was even better. Thank you to the parents who volunteered to cook the BBQ, and the staff who helped run the day.
