Success at Lawrence Hargrave Maths Challenge

Every year the Hawkesbury Learning Community holds the ‘Lawrence Hargrave Mathematics Challenge' in recognition of the valuable work of a famous Australian who pioneered the principles of flight. Ebenezer students Joshua, Teagan, Zach, Kiara, Hayden and Tatihanna did us proud by steering us to a silver medal! A wonderful event celebrating Maths and full of challenging problem-solving tasks, our team displayed not only fantastic skills but excellent teamwork. Ex-student and proud Hawkesbury High maths brain Louis Hanna mentored the team, coaching our students and helping them work methodically through each challenge. Congratulations!
